What Babies are for

Look at the modules I am taking this sem:

1) Statistics and Data Analysis
2) Audience Research Methods
3) Media Economics
4) Modern Drama
5) Magical Realism
6) ... and this module that doesn't really count as a module: Comm Campaigns ( I have no idea what I'm learning in this module. It is crap. He is crap. Everything's crap.)

Anyway, my point is that I'm extremely impressed by the many intellectual-sounding modules that I'm taking. Especially Stats. Working with numbers is like WOAHHHH, isn't it? And what's more amazing is that I actually enjoy Stats class alot.

WOAHHHHHH.

But that (enjoying stats) will be a thing of the past in 2 weeks' time. Bloody I don't want to have a Korean prof taking over. Ever since the 2002 World Cup... I... Okay nevermind. And the last World Cup made me even more pissed at them.

Worse still, it is usually hard to decipher what they're saying when they're actually saying it in English.

Stats leh. It is already hard to make sense out of random numbers... Now I have to make sense of Korean accented English and then out of numbers. WTF.

I want to cry to Detenber and beg him to let Marko teach for at least the whole of this sem.

Korean prof... go hug your baby. It needs you more than we do.

Discoveries

I am disgusting.

Because my new room is located such that people from the level above and below my unit can actually look in from their balconies, and it is quite an easy task to throw things into the balcony of the unit below mine, I am telling my mom that I WISH that these two units will be occupied by Italian/Spanish families with hot Italian/Spanish young men, so that I can drop love letters into their houses.

HAHA. Retarded right.

Okay larh. I guess I'm fantasizing quite alot becuz the Italy trip actually includes visiting "Juliet's Balcony".

(I don't mean what I said above actually. I really told my mom about the above nonsense but I'm not really thinking about doing it. I'm not retarded. And because I don't bob to the music while listening to iPod on the streets, I'm also not disgusting too *high context comm*.)

Anyway after an exciting week, I came to a few conclusions:

1) I shall stop oogling over M because he's not ooglable anymore.
2) Guys have a tendency to gravitate towards obedient, innocent, and stupid girls who imagine that they are living in some magical world where fairies exist and there are no bad people in the world. RETARDED.
3) I am sadistic. I am happy to see my retarded guy friends attatched to equally retarded girls. I find it super entertaining.
4) Torres is uber hot and creative and it doesn't matter that he's not clinical enough because he is cute.
5) I am quite delighted to discover that I am actually a mean person.
6) I don't like people who are too nice and friendly.

The Importance of being Impractical

I am not joking when I say I'm gonna marry an Italian (or Spanish) street artist and be contented with what my life will be like after that.

Someone told someone who then told me I don't know what poverty is.

Yes. I don't.

But I also don't happen to know what it means to be constantly obsessed with rubbing shoulders with people (your dad's age) of significance, getting so involved in politics you guys actually join the PAP youth... club... or whatever that is called, scheming against adults and sacrificing people for your own cause, and doing community service for your sake instead of the community's.

But I think it must suck to be sitting on top of a mountain of cash and then dying there and rolling downhill and eventually crashing into a fleet of nice cars (that belong to you) that are parked at the bottom of the mountain. Then you start to wonder, why isn't there anyone there below to catch you when you fall?

Nah Nah Nee Poo Poo.

My poor Italian (or Spanish) street artist will at least not fall from THAT height. He will not crash into a fleet of nice cars and die with metal and glass pieces stuck in his body because at most he has a bike. And I will be there to catch him when he falls.

The future aside... I wonder why people will insist on doing things that doesn't keep them happy. Practical or not, progressive or not... that is of secondary importance. I guess each of us will only live at most to a hundred years old. And it is best to be able to do things in this short span that make you happy (but of course you need to be able to sustain yourself financially for that hundred years). How dumb is it (imo) to waste your time on things that doesn't increase your happiness.

I'm glad it doesn't require alot of brains to be a Jingshi.

And so, my sister and I are going to Italy the end of this year to look for our street artists. Impractical. But the thought of it already makes us happy.

And that's what counts.

Blah Blah Blah

You know, watching the Harry Potter movie is like watching a bunch of adults and semi adults pointing STICKS and one another and then swaying their bodies forward and backward like they're having some sort of slow motion fits.

(Woah. The above is such a long sentence. No wonder Hedwig and Chopra never admired my writing.)

Anyway I didn't spend a cent on the movie. My friend had a pair of free tickets so I went to watch with her out of curiosity. Sarah, don't accuse me of secretly liking HP okay.

Went to the FCB shop at Vivo City yesterday and I was super excited. Saw a mini FCB flag that is rather affordable and I've decided I'll get that when the new house is ready. There was a really nice girls' pullover too but I was too terrified at the price tag attached to this stupid cheapskate looking towel to check out the price of the pullover.

If a towel alone can cost $200+, you can imagine how much the pullover can cost. When I strike TOTO, I will definitely buy it.

Talking about big price tags, I watched the Liverpool match this morning. It is good to be able to watch my expensive Torres play at 12.10 in the morning. When he's in the Spanish League, I had to crawl out of bed at 2 a.m. to catch him in action. But crap lah... the Pool defence was whack. Torres is good but somehow forever stuck in a deficient club. Sick.

... Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the camera men... alot of Torres CUs and MCUs... wonderful sight. HAHAHA.

OH. Another thing. Benitez got new image leh! Facial hair! So exciting right???

Okay. Nvm.

School Starts

Okay. I suspect alot of people whom I don't know read my blog actually read my blog.

Scary.

So I shall stop revealing dumb stuff on my blog in the future.

Anyway school just started. I can foresee the loads of work I'm supposed to clear by the end of this sem but despite this shit, school is extremely fun so far.

Marko and Wayne are hilarious. Marko in a mean way and Wayne in a... errr... kan cheong way. Thus, stats and media econs don't seem to be as disgusting as I imagined they should be. Besides, I buy Marko's idea that buying stats textbooks and displaying them on my bookshelf will impress people ALOT. I'm now determined to buy them. And I will not unwrap them until my new room and new bookshelf are here so that I will have brand new books to display on my bookshelf.

Also, although this is only the 2nd day of school, stupid and funny things are already happening. The self intro in Wayne's class made me realize we have a friend with French name in the module. I also made a great discovery that YZ and YW aren't actually siblings. Cool right?

Another marvellous name discovery... If Tinky is called Tinky, Kenneth can be called Kinky. And in addition, Kenneth's Chinese name sounds deceivingly like a Secondary School's name. Like if I say I studied at Mu Mao Zhong Xue, you will believe me, right? Right.

Okay, alot of crap from me already. I shall shut up.

----------------------------------------------------------

To Mrs. Potter:

I know why you didn't stay for MR today. You KNOW that bts is suffering from jet lag and his class will not last more than 30 mins. You terrorizing stalker!!! Admit now!!!

But this you wouldn't know... his jet lag is so bad he claimed he will "pass out" in class if he didn't end it early. You see... you should've been here to help him back to his rented flat. HAHAHA.

And last piece of info for you, he didn't read a single Potter book or watch a single Potter movie. But he will be discussing Potter in MR class!
