Current Status: Half-a-Human-with-Little-Life
work work work...
it's not that the job is particularly boring or tiring...
it's just -- doing the same thing, repeating myself over n over
FOR 7 HRS EVERYDAY
... ... is horrible.
esp when the replies i get are the same.
i love it when things are different.
and when it's not, not even the food at maxwell market can cheer me up.
but well i do love the workplace...
it has a nice pool table n video games available for staff use.
it's not like i'll use them.. it's just the thought that staff welfare is taken care of makes me feel better.
i love the people in my team too!
they're all nice peeps with loads of toys laid on their desks!

and i begin to appreciate after work frenzy after i landed myself into this ****.
it's lovely to rush to some civilized part of the country to catch a movie, indulge in some nice food, or look at how far the discounts have gone.
i'm starting to have hallucinations of myself chionging at the GSS after payday. okie... perhaps i should label this POSITIVE VISUALIZATION instead. hehehe...

Rooftops
damn it sounds uber un-lostprophetish.
scares me totally...
everything is fine... just that the chorus is kindda... erm...
it just sounds wrong.
i can visualize some simple plan fans bouncing to the chorus.
oh man such a tragedy.
but the bridge is even more of a tragic.
repetition of this sort is unacceptable to me.
such a sting. arghhh...
on 2nd thoughts... not everything about the song is fine.
they better be right that every song in the album is different.

Da Vinci Code
i hate all the descriptions in the book. they're so long-winded and goes round and round and i still don't see the point of their existance. why do i wana know how and where the citreon surve?
and it sucks that all that decryptions are actually just bullshit. i really thought mona lisa = amon lisa (isis) and was utterly impressed until tinky told me otherwise.
this is so unethical. cheating readers into believing something that seem so real but is actually not. i kindda enjoy reading the book but the thought of dan brown cheating on me seriously irritates.
half a book more to go...

Obsession
it suddenly popped up within the few days after my exam...
(which ended on wed fyi)
i become extremely engrossed in reading chinese sword-fighting novel(s) again. the last time i read one was in sec 1 i think. i stared at the online version of the book (xiao ao jiang hu) for 2 whole days, from the minute i open my eyes till i sleep. those eyes turned so sore my mom bought the books for me by the end of the 2nd day, so i wouldn't spoil my eyes staring at my laptop screen 24/7. the below shows the degree of my obsession.
1. i put 2 new lostprophets video on hold to read my book.
2. i didn't switch on the TV for 2 days because i was busy reading. usually, i turn on the TV every 15-30 minutes.
3. i become so exhausted after all that mad reading i lost interest in food, topshop and esprit.
4. i haven't read the newspaper ever since i got hold of the online version of the novel.
5. i didn't go online for 3 days despite the fact that my exams are over.
totally amazing. total obsession.

What A Depoliticized Girl Thinks About Our Elections
I've compliant that there's little democracy before
but upon hearing what i heard on radio this morning
i start questioning the need for it.
seriously this particular person from some particular opposition party didn't make a good point at this particular rally for a particular GRC.
sorry... i can't specify not because i didn't want to. i just can't because i really don't know. the other day some person from PAP waved at me and i have no idea who he was, so i just walked away.
politics is as alien to me as math.
okie back to what i heard on radio...
that person was rather stupid i think, to say that all the reps from PAP are like erm... backed up by the veterans.. and he gave an example of this dunno what GRC where all the newbies are sheltered under the umbrella of mr. goh. and he even went on saying how tall mr. goh is and how many newbies he can shelter given his height.
so what's the point he's trying to make?
does he expect an established political party not to tap on their rad human resources to back their newbies up to win votes? that's PAP's competitive edge and they're not supposed to use it?
and is he trying to say that PAP is bad because they have rad people to guide newbies into being better leaders, learning from the experienced ones?
that's so stupid.
if you can't even realize that emphasizing & utilizing what you're rad at is the key to survival and victory, you want to run a GRC?
thank goodness singapore is run by PAP. if not, we'll be trying to compete with china for low labour cost and the states for development of warring devices for sale.

which means we're left with NO choice.

some of the key tactics used by Ling Hu Cong include:
- telling a girl how you love(d) another girl & how your efforts go wasted. remember to emphasize on the degree of heart-brokeness you've experienced. her pity for you will usually grow into.. well.. more than just pity.
- act blur. pretend to be oblivious of the fact that this girl likes you alot. you can enjoy a moment of being treated like some king, cuz she'll be extremely nice to you thinking that you don't know she's being exceptionally nice (and thus not feel embarrassed for exposing her feelings). but DO NOT overdo this. show appreciation & acknowledgement when necessary, if not she'll despair & disappear.
- crap. when you're quite sure this girl likes you, and you want confirmation, you can start crapping about things like saying how important she is to you & you know... mushy things like that - in a joking manner - make sure you leave some space for retreat if you find out you're mistaken. if not you might not end up embarrassing yourself.
given my low level thinking ability, that's what i figured. but i think there's alot more than that in the book. from my perspective, i think these will certainly work. uber skillful. uber effective.
