A Sad Fact
(caution: the following entry is exagerrated purely for entertainment purpose. if you don't perceive it as that, and thinks i'm seriously hurt in the process of reading blogs, i hereby proclaim that i'm not - to that extent. thanks.)
i usually don't agree that facts are meant to be sad
but recently, i stumbled upon one that is rather sad.
rather --
i realized. that. my vocab. is. uber. limited.
thank you.
reading blogs belonging to people other than myself seriously puts me to shame, with all those bombastic, monsterous, alienish, and god-knows-what words - planted everywhere throughout their entries (of which i usually understand none).
the very presence of these words inflict damage to my very-fragile self-esteem like how malwares cause destruction to a super unprotected computer.
then, the snow-ball effect sets in. collecting bits and bits of my self-esteem as it races towards the end of the path, smashing into a wall of ice. SPLAT. and then, i'm left with no self-esteem.
so i begin to cry like microsoft would.
Note: the most bombastic word i used in this entry is "bombastic" itself. and i'm not even sure if i spelt it correctly. somehow the spellcheck function can't work on this SPYWARE infected comp of mine.

This Saturday Evening
this saturday evening...
mom & dad will be out attending some wedding dinner...
all the merry making...
while i'm alone at home.

sis will be having dinner with her friends...
all the merry making...
while i'm alone at home.

i will be alone at home.
and things can't get any worse when i'm supposed to have dinner ALONE on a SATURDAY night
WHILE everybody else is celebrating for one thing or another,
in one way or another..
and all i can do is cry over my dinner
with my lappie and handphone beside me...
hoping that someone acknowledges my presence by making some big or small gesture...
and then. the night is over.

dunno what am i doing here...
there's still a stack of marketing readings waiting for me to go through...
but seeing the same concepts appearing in every piece of reading..
it really doesn't make much sense if i were to go through each of them...
these notes really bore me to death.
if it wasn't for the fun-filled day of ushering on monday...
i'd have died of boredom...
and note.. when ushering can be fun-filled...
it just tells how unhappening life is having to face my stackful of book & notes...
the only reasonably exciting occurrance that happened so far is that tinky's toe nail died. it just dropped off. hehehe... (opps i dun mean to laugh... ^^)
let's all hope there'll be a rebirth of tinky's nail. if not she'll be a living monster without a nail. all human beings have toe nails. so will tinky. yay!

Part One: Pseudo Post Exam Madness
End of exams... at least for my core subjects...
one more paper on the 3rd of May... principles of marketing... but set that aside 1st... it's PLAYTIME!!!
Went ktv wif ali, tinky, serene ytd... yanzhao & david joined us some time later...
it was totally crazy... hehehe!!!
serene was like screaming on the top of her voice...
jumping on the sofa seats out of extreme highness...
then i picked x'tina aguilera's "i turn to u" & that was classic!
we all know x'tina's amazing vocals...
so we all took the mics & try to hit the high keys will all our might...
ended up screaming & jumping around in madness..
yanzhao & david were like totally stunned & disgusted & turned off & what not.. for wat we did.. (^.^)
ktv was amazing... love it!!!
note: thx to serene & ali for the flower & cake!!!
Part Two: St. Nix Groupiesm
I came to a realization that girls from st. nix are either:
1) potential groupies
2) full-fledged groupies
we scream for the sake of screaming at concerts, in kbox's rooms, at school, in the sports stadium watching events, when watching dramas...
simply put, we scream whenever an opportunity to do so arises.
but that's so fun!!!
hehe i am one of them too!
considering the fact that i screamed like mad at good charlotte's gig, although i don't like them a bit,
and that i'm utterly amused by the fact that joel had the cheek to say he wants to marry one of the audience to get the citizenship of singapore..
that's like such a cheesy & stupid thing to do!!! cheating on little girls... arghh...
but watching those bimbotic little girls jumping around excitedly, volunteering their marriage...
I JOIN THEM! (but i don't mean it.. hee..)
then at fort minor's gig...
i went screaming every 20 seconds...
and when mike walks past...
i went: "mike... can u sign on my phone pleeeeasseee?"
(& added the blink blink to it to enhance the effect of my desperation that is typical of a hardcore fan...)
then after i got his signature.. i went jumping all over the indoor stadium gushing in excitement, screaming: "OMGGGG i've got mike's signature... OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!! i'm dying!!!!!"
just to piss those girls who didn't get his signature off.
mean but fun! it doesn't really inflict any harm on anyone anyway... hehehe...
then after all that, i accidently swipe nail varnish over the signature when i got back home... destroying it...
but strangely i didn't feel a sense of remorse or a tinge of sadness for losing the piece of evidence that proved mike signed my phone..
so much for my groupie behavior.
there's a serious mismatch between my actions & my thoughts i suppose...
i'm a groupie. a PSEUDO groupie.
and i'm proud to be one. wheeeeee!!!!!!!!

So much love...
although i'm spending my bday doing one of my most feared paper
but it certainly feels good...
when i open my door yesterday night to find the Kerrang! magazine i've been looking desperately for lying outside my house...
when i flip over the skirt i left on my bed to find the tiny panda my sis n i share hiding under the skirt, trying to hide a topshop shopping card my sis got for me, under its fat little body...
when i wake up this morning to find so many messages in my phone's inbox, wishing me happy birthday...
when i reach school and receive a toy flower, chips, and FOX sweets...
when my friends just shook my hand and wish me happy birthday...
when i realize i'm 4 years old today...
when i get a heart shape cake from my beloved friends...
when i'm anticipating the wonderful home-cooked dinner filled with vitamin L(ove)...
i love u guys!!!!! thank you!!!!!

Beautiful... i think the wax museum should consider adding another piece of art into their collection... and this should be it... wheee!!!
Argh the effects of exams... i'm losing my mind... getting excited over trivial stuff like a beautiful photo.. hehe... (^.^)v
Anyway any kind soul who reads this... if possible, pls help me get the 15th April issue of Kerrang! magazine from HMV or Times Bookstore.. i'll pay u back... kindda got grounded due to exams... and i'm afraid it'll be sold out or something when i'm done with all my struggling... *touchwood*...

(i'm embarrassing myself with my profound knowledge of the names of 3 boybands... i'm NOT supposed to know!!! argghh...)
seriously... it's a waste ian is not flaunting his looks to the extent a person with such good looks should flaunt it. but again, if he does... he'll just be another superficial idiot.

things get really screwed up when exam is 10 days away
but u have no idea what to study
although you very much WANT to study.
the paradox of studying? not really.
it's not like i studied so much i have nothing left to learn
it's just that...
our notes are freaking invisible, (they don't exist at all)
our textbooks are wonderfully useless, (they contain pgs of nonsense)
and most of our past lectures and tutorials are bin-worthy.
bin as in the rubbish bin.
the names of the subjects i'm taking already reflect how unstudieable they are.
(pardon my spelling. i can't spell the word unstudy-able.
that's the best way i thought i could spell it without using the "-".)
anyway, here goes:
CS106 - Speech & Presentation: you present a speech. you don't write them in 2hrs. and you create a speech, you don't learn them from textbooks.
CS103 - electronic broadcast media: yes.. this is the ultimate. we have loads of books and notes to read from. but none of them has info substantial enough to allow us to come up with an intellectual answer. the worse thing is, when i say that something is not intellectual, it really isn't. i'm already not intellectual.
CS108 - some technology course i forgot the official name: okie, how do we explain how to use a mac, or operate the final cut express with paper and pen? ........... i click on the "applications" button, then i double click on "final cut express". then i open the file from "storage hard-drive".... the i load my vid. then i connect the DV-Cam to the fire wire..........
CS105 - communication research: amazing. they test us on our ability to conduct research. what are they gonna ask us about? how to we find locate our sample?
Amazing how they think these subjects are testable. CS students can smoke. but perhaps not to that extent.
