Alone vs. Lonliness
Relatives vs. Strangers
Love vs. Responsibility
Being lonely doesn't necessarily mean being alone.
And being alone doesn't necessarily mean being lonely.
During the 2nd day of CNY, my house is flooded with relatives.
But I feel lonely
Cuz most of them I see just once in a year
And I don't know anything about them besides the fact that they're my mom's sisters... brothers... neices and nephews...
I pretended that I share an intimate bond with them
Talking to them... laughing... smiling...
(even though I don't exactly enjoy it...)
But do I really know them?
And do they know me at all?
Yet I can't treat them like complete strangers can I?
We're relatives afterall.
Perhaps I shouldn't blame CousinX for being rude to mom and dad.
Perhaps he's just being real - we shouldn't be friendly towards strangers.
Perhaps I'm too pretentious a person.
Really, what makes me want to be friendly towards my relatives is my responsiblity to do so.
Of course there's some cousins and an aunt whom I truely adore.
But the rest...
I'm just doing it for my parents' sake.
Maybe a little bit for the sake of my culture's tradition too.

Hotness
Somehow, girls tend to be impressed by blond haired ang mohs
Especially if they have blue eyes as well.
It is apparently the preferred package.
But how intense can his look be if his eyes are not dark enough
And his brows not thick and dark to allow the magnification of the intensity?
Somehow, guys with dark hair, dark brows and dark eyes seem more sincere to me.
And yes, they are hella HOT.
It's even better if they have a nice tan.
Extreme buffness is undesirable though.
I can never figure why guys love to develop those oversized muscles on their bodies.
I keep thinking those muscular arms look like a giant peanut.
eeeeks!!!
A lean, muscular build will be just right.
If I were a guy, I'd never bother going to the gym...
Trying to lift those weights for God knows what reason.
Just do the situps and push ups...
That's quite enough I guess.
Another point to make is that specs is not at all uncool.
In fact, I have a fetish for guys who look good in specs.
That's hot.
Especially if they have super nice eyes hidden behind the specs...
Implicit things have more appeal you see... hehehe..
Seriously, I don't think all ang mohs are superior.
Asian guys can be hot too.
Just take dark hair/eyed ang mohs are usually hotter...
SERIOUSLY hotter.

Pineapple Tart
It is an impossible task to refrain from eating pineapple tarts during CNY.
I mean,
Imagine the poor little pineapple tart,
Sitting on the dish,
Wishing and hoping that you will give it a little attention,
And prove its worth by placing it in your mouth and then tummy...
Just this simple wish,
And I can't even fulfill it???
No way,
I can't leave the pitiful little tart to cry silently.
It's so cruel to disappoint it.
It's only a tart!
How can I expose it to such brutality
And scar it eternally...
By ignoring its presence???
Placing my left palm on my tummy in apology,
And reaching my right hand to pick up the tart,
I was determined.
I'm going to eat it.
...
...
The tart sang happily in my mouth as I munched on it,
And it lay in content,
Enjoying the warmth within my tummy.
I sacrificed my wish (to slim down) to grant the tart its wish.
Then I stared at the dish where the tart once sat.
There, I saw its little friends sitting,
Staring at me with tears in their eyes
Begging,
" Please, can I join Tart #1080?"
I closed my eyes...
I can't show favourtism to the innocent tarts who know little of the evil world outside.
Yes you may.

And they all lived happily ever after.

i'm starting to get excited all over again!!!!

and while u happily toss the food around,
knowing that this is the only time u wldn't be scolded for doing this blantently in front of your elders...
u ridiculously tell the dish your wishes..
like wanting to strike 4D and stuff like that.
it's dumb but fun!!!
i love it!
in fact, the only thing i really hate CNY for is the CNY songs.
i mean, are they even considered songs???
this woman/man will scream on top of his/her lungs,

Movies....
yeah i've been watching movies rather frequently these days...
watched 2 movies in a week..
but they're all cool! yay!!!
In Her Shoes
this show rawk. it's funny, but not stupidly funny.
it makes u wana laugh and cry.
basically it's abt 2 sisters who are the complete opposite
one is a hot, dumb blonde
the other is an unattractive brunette who's hella smart.
somehow, they broke into a huge quarrel and were torn apart
but somehow again, like all movies i love,
it has a happy ending.
they got together again and had a bond stronger then b4.
i just hate it when a movie has a sad ending.
life's already not perfect.
why do we have to make things worse by having stories that have sad endings?
so i do love love love this movie.
cameron diaz made me wana practise yoga again.
and i've decided to swim to get my long-lost tan back.
she just makes me wonder why people can have such long legs.
it's especially hard for me to imagine why when my family has a defect in our leg gene -- all of us have short legs.
oh, and did i mention, fat legs.

Bullied... BIGGGG TIME!!!
i bet i bet i bet that it's my shortness that makes ppl wana bully me!
thanks to bad genes.. hmph!!! >.<
i can't navigate in sch *despite being in sch for a sem and 3 weeks.. hehe.. opps..*
and david threatened me time and again that he'd not bring me to the places where i'm supposed to attend lessons.
i can't find my way to town from sch, and i got laughed at by dunno how many ppl... BOO!!! *planning to revenge**
and shang hit me.. (T.T) claiming that there was a mosquito on my arm.. but i din see the corpse of the mozzi.. and that left me wondering till now if there was a mozzi indeed *glares menacingly*
even the ambulance driver bullied me dis morning when i came out of the carpark and tried to stop the car to let my mom place the groceries in the boot. i didn't wana block the ambulance, but there really was no place to stop!!!
in the end, this kind uncle, after his futile effort to teach me how to navigate (from outside my car), gave up on instructing and drove my car out of the way himself.... datz how traumatizing for a new, short, 19-year-old, female driver.... *weeps*
even birds like to poo on my car when there's like a thousand and one cars out dere for them to poo on!!! wahhhh!!!
BUT.. it doesn't matter!!!! all of the above are proof that i'm a nice girl!! big-hearted, forgiving, sweet-natured etc... hehehe... *puke puke* that's why i still love everyone! yay! (^.^)v

Updates of my live aren't that interesting after all.
Just that my pityriasis rosea is gone,
my skin is no longer itching but the stupid skin is flaking like mad!!!
i feel like some snake shedding, just that i know i can't grow taller..
hehe, unless i go under the knife and perform some surgery..
but i'm too broke.

I love driving. but singapore is just so so so freakin BIG i can't figure how to go from one place to another!!!

Driving
I love driving. but singapore is just so so so freakin BIG i can't figure how to go from one place to another!!!
i have wonderful "get-lost" records no one can break:
- getting lost trying to get home from aljunied altho my parents showed me the way 3 freakin times. it was fun tho, i travelled the most of singapore including wonderful geylang on my quest home... hehehe ^^ ( i din get off the car tho... hohoho.. such a decent gerl!!! *beamz*)
- Next, i got lost, TWICE, out of my 2 attempts to get home from ntu. BOOOOOO!!!
- Then, once while i was lost, and desperately trying to figure my way home, a police car honked at me. i was traumatized. the menacing policemen scrolled down his window screen and said:
- "girl.. u din close ur car door properly"
I'm confident i'll be a better driver. Soon. YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!
Okies.. datz all for now... shall chat wif frens for a while..
